Join us for Cyber Security Awareness Month

With Cyber Security Awareness Month upon us, we’re pleased to share the programme for this month. This year, we’re focusing on providing cyber security events and advice for three main audiences:

  • individuals who want to stay safer online

  • small businesses and charities looking to protect their organisation

  • organisations classed as Operators of Essential Services (OES) under the Cyber Security (Jersey) Law 2026

To coincide with the month, we’re also re-opening Cyber Health Check for up to 15 organisations. If you didn’t benefit from a Cyber Health Check last year when we ran the pilot, don’t miss out. You can find out more below.

As ever, we’re very grateful to all the partner organisations who work with us to provide valuable expertise throughout the month. Thank you to Soteria Communications, Parity Technologies, Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner, and the Channel Islands Information Security Forum.

I hope you can join us for at least one of these events. Or, if you have suggestions for future events, you can always email us: [email protected].

Until next time,

Take a free Cyber Health Check

After an initial pilot last year, we’re once again offering Cyber Health Checks for local organisations, with a focus on Operators of Essential Services (OES), small businesses and charities.

We developed Cyber Health Check as a free service to support smaller organisations who want to improve their cyber security, but who may not have an external IT provider, or are in the early stages of their cyber security journey.

It can act as a standalone indicator of your cyber security status, and act as a first step towards achieving Cyber Essentials accreditation.

When you take a Cyber Health Check, you receive:

  1. A plain English assessment about how you handle cyber security, with key terms explained

  2. A 20 page report with tailored advice and guidance

  3. A meeting with one of our team to discuss your results

  4. A Cyber Health Check rating that rates your current cyber security status
